Designed in 1938 by Hans Coray, the Landy Chair has been a Vitra classic and icon since its inception.
At first glance, the Landy Chair may appear to be a traditional and simple seat. However, this chair became a success in 20th century design, as Hans Coray created a new chair typology that Vitra has reissued to take full advantage of all the benefits of today\'s technology and new techniques.
Based on two U-shaped profiles, the base of the Landy Chair supports the seat shell, which contains 91 drilled holes, with the aim of making it lightweight, sturdy and flexible. It also has the possibility of stacking six chairs on top of each other, as well as placing them outside a home. The entire structure withstands any space.
