José Teruel Galarzo
Sales, Design and Assembly Manager

My role in the company is:
In my professional life I have gone through several phases: I worked in a furniture factory as a laborer in my adolescence, which made me know all the ins and outs of the interior of the furniture and its construction. Then I went through project assembly on my arrival in Elche, and given my capabilities as I am an artist (painter and sculptor) I was offered the opportunity to design projects and carry them out. In the implementation of these projects I am actively present to give a peripheral vision and thus not to make a simple assembly without making sense.

My favorite design is:
La Maggiolina by Zanotta, designed by Marco Zanuso, a design from 1947.

I love it for:
For its comfort and minimalism, it's a perfect piece, its goose down sitting makes you feel like you are sitting on a cotton cloud, it's like a tailored suit.

My hobbies are:
Art, in my free time I like to paint, I try to look for impressionism in my works, although it is difficult to achieve, my referents are Claude Monet and Édouard Manet. I also like to recycle to make small sculptures.

My favorite music:
The music of the 70s and 80s. Undoubtedly it was the best time, the songs had lyrics, nowadays the songs are different.

My favorite food is:
Ham, who doesn't like a good plate of ham? Accompanied with bread, olive oil (if possible from Jaén where I'm from) and of course a glass of red wine.

My favorite destination is:
Barcelona, I like it because of the legacy of Gaudi, the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, the Gothic cathedral with the Picasso museum, walking along the Rambla, its beaches ... a very cosmopolitan city.

I would love to visit:
I would like to get to know all the corners of Spain, from the North to the South and to get to know the local gastronomy.
