The plywood moulding techniques marked a turning point in Vitra\'s armchairs, such as the LCW Armchair.
Lounge Chairs Wood, or better known as LCW, are moulded with the human body in mind. For years, Charles & Ray Eames searched for a way to make a comfortable, comfortable seat out of wood. All this experimentation resulted in the Plywood Group collection.
A design icon and widely regarded as the chair of the century, LCW is available in four finishes: natural ash, red ash, black ash and black pigmented walnut. This particular model is only made of wood, but there are also other upholstered versions, such as the LCW Calf\'s Skin armchair or the LCW Leather armchair.
